Went on a date with my girlfriend to see this today. Oh man it was so good and so crazy everyone should try and see it if it’s possible.

 Philly’s Poppinest Jawn Round 3 Wrap-Up

loladelphia:

Now that the Elite Eight is in the books, we are ready to get into the Final Four. The Elite 8 match-ups were largely uneventful with one exception in the Lenny Dykstra Division. Nominees Roy Halladay and Cliff Lee found themselves locked in a close race for much of the week, but Halladay pulled away with a six vote lead as we entered the FINAL HOURS of voting. One member of the LOLadelphia team went to bed convinced that the mighty Cliff Lee had finally met his demise. However, a furious ballot-stuffing measure in the final hour led to an upset of monumental proportions and Halladay was eliminated. Cliff Lee has overcome the popularity of Chase Utley and Roy Halladay to advance to the Final Four, and that’s pretty impressive.

Facing Cliff Lee in the Final Four will be Preston and Steve Preston and Steve was able to easily knock off the Phillies Broadcast Team, and has faced pretty light competition up until this point. P&S will have to receive a lot of support to knock off Cliff Lee, as the city still has a raging boner for him.

The real fun comes in the battle between the winners of the Wanamaker’s and PSFS Divisions: Wawa and Tastykake. Both have demolished their competition and will now go head to head. We expect a close competition between these two!

Voting for the final four match-ups will begin on Tuesday, March 29th!

Our current leaderboard is as follows:

  1. Elizabeth J. (40)
  2. Krista C. (38)
  3. Brett W. (37)
  4. Anna C. (37)
  5. Michael P. (36)
  6. Kevin C. (34)
  7. Danielle S. (34)
  8. Andrew M. (33)
  9. Jules C. (33)

So I have this Philly shirt that I never wear. It’s a small. If anyone wants it just let me know and I’ll mail it to you.
