Let me tell you about my Gaga concert experiences: Fame Ball / Electric Factory (May 3rd 2009)
- Front Row, stage right. She sang to us. After Liz and I did the “Wakaka” from her Jonathan Ross performance of “Poker Face”, Gaga came up to us, looked down directly at us and screamed it back at us. It was my first concert ever.
Monster Ball 1.0 / Camden (December 3rd 2009)
- We won tickets from Q102. We were 7th row from the front. We could taste the fog machines before we saw the fog. We met awesome people in the line and I’m still FB friends with most of them.
- We also skipped school and walked through Camden then waited 6 hours in line to be close to the stage.
Monster Ball 2.0 / Atlantic City (July 4th 2010)
- We were late so we weren’t as close but it was still an amazing show. People gave us looks because: 1) I knew all of the interludes, 2) I sang along to all of them and 3) We did choreography in the pit.
- Best July 4th of my life
Monster Ball 2.0 / Atlantic City (Feburary 19th 2011) (First concert after the release of BTW)
- I was so close that I tasted the water from the Eternal Fountain after she wet her hands with it and flung the water into the audience. We got sang to. We were so. fucking. close.
- We were the first live concert audience to see Born This Way, and when she ended the song we all instinctively did the arm/paw movements with her. She began to cry. So did we. It was intense. Beautiful. The whole heart and soul of the Monster Ball summed up in 5 seconds of shared unity.
- We waited in the cold by the ocean for 3 hours before the show.
I’m ready for The Road To Love tour.
The Gaga concert i went to without Jared sucked. I was surrounded by a mom and daughter who were smoking weed and knew none of the songs. The entire crowd around me was not into it at all and I felt like the only one who actually cared. It was obviously still awesome though.
